"He is not here, but He has risen.” Luke 24:6a (NASB )
Jesus commanded his followers to roll away the stone. Two thousand years later Jesus commands us to love the unlovable and love the people that are beyond loving. And we argue with him. We complain, much like the people present when Lazarus was raised probably did, saying things like, “It’s going to stink! There’s going be a smell!” His own followers then and now, are arguing with him about what he can and cannot do. The next time Jesus asks you to roll away the figurative stone, do it. That might mean doing something that makes no sense, that looks completely asinine or like investing in a person who seems beyond investing in. If you aren’t willing to move the stone, you could be missing out on watching God do a miracle.
